However an exhaustive chronological list of the Raja’s of Kashmir is preserved in the list prepared by Aurel Stein in November 1897. The list is based on the one he copied from Princeps - Indian Antiquties, Vol II, by E. Thomas. As per the Stein manuscript, the list goes as follows:

2448- Gonenda - I corresponding to Kaliyuga 653. Gonenda was a relation of Janasmdha.
Damodara - I
Gonenda - II
35 Princes. ( names forgotten ) The Muslim historians put the number as 100.
1609 - Lava ( Bala - Lava )
1664 - Kausesaya.
1660 – Khagendra.
1573 – Godhara. ( Gowdher AA )
1477 – Janak. ( Jenak )
1471 – Sachinara. ( Sujuner )
1394 – Ashoka established Buddhism.
1332 – Jaloka adopted castes.
1302 – Damodra – II, a Siva transformed into a snake.
1277 - Huska, Juska, Kanishka. Tartar Princes, re-established the Buddhism.
1217 – Abhimanyu, an orthodox Hindu. ( corresponds to 423 B. C. )
